We are currently seeking a VP level senior scientist to oversee and coordinate the development of scientific projects as well as manage the allocation of staff and resources in order to reach corporate milestones. This position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the SVP of Operations in planning and executing corporate and drug development goals.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or other related field with extensive experience in cellular immunology.
- 10+ years of related pharmaceutical/biotech industry/drug development experience
- 5+ years of experience in cellular therapy manufacturing
- Strong background in cellular immunology with emphasis on immune cell function and regulation with working knowledge of immunological assays, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry
- Experience with the development of cellular therapies both in the research environment and the manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and teamwork skills are required to effectively work in our highly interactive environment.
- Experience in cross functional aspects of drug development
